We manufacture our passenger seats with a distinctive ergonomic 3D contour. The shape and inclination of the elaborately crafted seat core support the ergonomically beneficial, natural posture of the pelvis. A special feature of our passenger seat is the support contour integrated into the front section of the seat, which provides additional secure support when braking. Integrated into the motorcycle in this way, riding becomes simply relaxed and therefore active. And without a doubt, relaxed seating provides an extra level of active safety. This AKTIVKOMFORT seat features the latest ThermoPro technology, which keeps the seat surface temperature up to 25°C lower in direct midsummer sunlight compared to conventional cover materials.
AKTIVKOMFORT seat with adjustable Smart Plug & Play seat heating Smart Plug & Play: This seat with comfort seat heating replaces the original seat. The prerequisite is that the original seat is also equipped with seat heating and that the motorcycle has the corresponding power supply. Before fitting the seat as usual, all that is required is to connect it electrically to the motorcycle’s on-board electrical system. This is done using the appropriate pre-assembled Plug & Play cable! The desired heat setting (Off, Heat level 1, Heat level 2) can be individually adjusted as usual via an easily accessible switch located on the right-hand side of the seat in the direction of travel, while the rider is shown in the on-board menu when the passenger seat heating element is switched on.
The AKTIVKOMFORT seat heating element consists of a robust fleece into which a fine yet exceptionally tensile and resistant heating wire made of stainless steel filament is integrated and laid in numerous loops. This elaborate construction, designed for durability and resilience, ensures even, optimally distributed warmth that is perceived as especially pleasant, noticeably enhances seating comfort and provides the necessary elasticity required for the seat heating element to permanently and flexibly compensate for the heavy stress caused by movement, stretching and compression of the seat padding when mounting and riding.

Because the requirements for rider and passenger differ, BMW specialist Wunderlich manufactures its AKTIVKOMFORT seats with a specific contour for rider and passenger. The contour for rider and passenger differs in detail due to the differing requirements. The following applies to both: the proven, distinctive ergonomic 3D contour and the shape and inclination of the elaborately crafted seat core support the ergonomically beneficial, natural posture of the pelvis.

The “sagging” of the padding is reliably prevented thanks to the sophisticated construction, and seat pressure is evenly distributed over a larger area, resulting in noticeably lower specific pressure load on your backside. Pleasant! The ergonomic shape of the special foam also relieves pressure on the sensitive coccyx. They provide perfect support and active, safe control during spirited riding, especially when braking: who does not know the situation when the passenger suddenly pushes from behind under hard braking and you unexpectedly have to brace yourself while also steering in what may be a critical situation. Thanks to Wunderlich’s specially developed support contour, these alarming moments when braking are a thing of the past. The innovative ergonomic 3D contour also ensures that pressure points on the inner thighs when standing at traffic lights are a thing of the past.
Integrated in this way, riding becomes simply relaxed and active. Relaxed riding creates a decisive extra level of active safety.
