Developed specifically for the original cockpit fairings of the BMW R 12 G/S, it combines an authentic rally look with top-level functional aerodynamics.
The compact windscreen extends 100–130 millimetres above the rally cockpit fairing of the BMW R 12 G/S. With aerodynamic rear airflow and an integrated flip, it provides effective protection against wind and weather while creating calm airflow conditions for noticeably increased riding comfort.
Thanks to the variable adjustment options, the inclination can be individually adapted. In addition, the screen can be mounted in two height positions. This allows the preferred balance of design, ergonomics and protective effect to be set easily.
The windscreen enables a relaxed, upright seating position. It reduces wind load on the upper body while retaining the refreshing feeling of airflow in summer and providing pleasant weather protection at the same time. The view over the upper edge of the screen remains unobstructed.
As with all Wunderlich components, quality is paramount: the screen is made from high-quality materials, offers clear, distortion-free visibility and impresses with its hand-polished edge. It is scratch-resistant, UV- and fuel-resistant.
The attractively shaped, matt black powder-coated stainless steel brackets guarantee stability and durability and integrate discreetly into the design. The construction follows the proven development principles of our MARATHON windscreens – robust, functional and visually perfectly integrated. Installation is simple and precise at four points on the outside of the R 12 G/S cockpit fairing. Naturally supplied with ABE.
